The School of Social Work is committed to training professionsals in an educational, political and social context with local, regional and national levels, Undergraduate and Graduate of high academic, professional competitiveness, characterized by performing successfully in the social context where they operate, equipped with the ability to take action and work together, promoting positive leadership and ability to respond to the challenges of research and care of different problems, developing intervention models that require each of the situations presented, thus contributing to strengthening the professional specialty.

La infraestructura física y el equipamiento responden a las demandas de cada uno de los programas educativos, ya que se dispone de espacios debidamente acondicionados para la realización de las tareas de docencia, investigación y gestión académica; así mismo, existe tecnología de gran capacidad para la operación de redes y programas de Educación Abierta y a Distancia. Las fuentes de financiamiento están constituidas por programas de apoyos extraordinarios, a través de convenios con instituciones de la administración pública y privada y por la generación de recursos propios.
The physical infrastructure and equipment meet the requirements of individual educational programs, as it properly conditioned spaces for carrying out the tasks of teaching, research and academic administration, likewise, high-capacity technology exists for network operations and programs of Open and Distance Education. Funding sources consist of special support programs, through agreements with institutions of public and private management and the generation of own resources.
The regulations reflects the nature of educational programs and ensures security and stability of the functions resulting therefrom. Based on the program to improve the quality of educational programs, the Bachelor of Social Work-school is located at Level 1 according to the classification of CIEES after having met the criteria established for that purpose, the two remaining programs are evaluated by the relevant bodies.
